If some codes do not work, try using NECx1 Device 45, SubDevice 45 instead.
OEM remote for this hybrid device uses same EFCs for DVD and VCR, but NEC1-device 110 for DVD, NECx1 Device 45, SubDevice 45 for VCR.
Although either device will respond to either protocol in general, using same EFCs, you may need to LEARN the button for switching between modes, or use a keymove or combo protocol as this is device specific - EFC 145 - needs to use NEC1:110 to switch TO VCR, or NECx1:45:45 to switch TO DVD.
This is the only function with this requirement - all other functions don't seem to "care" which of the 2 protocols you use - they just control whichever device is active. |
