The dtr pin doesnt work
I got my adapter, i tried with dtr pin. it didn't work.
Then i soldered the rts pin. and i tried it worked

Transister design my tyler
i am using the transister design from this pdf. i used the corrected r6.
i ordered ftdi cable. hope to recieve it soon.
and i think i was not suppose to connect vcc(pin 1) when i am using batteries. cant check now as out on a trip. will check the cable once i get back home

The cable is USB TTL Serial. The only difference between the original serial on our PC and this is the vcc voltage, which is 5 volts or 3.3 volts for high in this.

I have a serial port on my pc, and the circuit of the cable was not difficult. so i decided to create it myself.

The problem is there with the software
This is a known problem i think, its there on the fourm, and was resolved but the exact solution was not given.

I created the transister based serial cable for my one for all urc7960. I tried downloading the remote data but remote master shows no remote found.

The code 1658 dint work
the codes that worked for me are 1158 in amp mode,
2457 in dvd mode.
Are the efc codes are dependent on the setup code? how can i convert the efc code from the code given on the above link?
