JP1 Remotes

Just noticed now that when uploading bespoke remotes for the sling boxes that it’s no longer saved so when you log in you have to reconfigure the box and upload again . Thought it might be an odd issue but I have three boxes and each are doing the same ? Even with different boxes and remote codes ...

Hello again, could you guide me through the process of loacting the path to the file please .... I did have trouble last time doing this and I cant seem to get it right this time .

Thank you for te valued information: I have followed the instructions to the letter and can even mirror exactly the manufactures shown on your info sheet (page 9 ) however where you show custom after.... other .... I dont have this option on any of the slingboxes ? I did another reset and tried it ...

bizzare this , I have three pro boxes and having reset them want to download new .bin codes for new boxes I have .despite trying the dropdown menu that offers custom is there ... but when pressed does not give me the option to input the path ? This is on all three boxes ...so has there been a change ...

how do I download the .bin files I need ? I have done a search for the .bin for Goodmans GD11FVRSD32 and see reference by Alan Ritchy … but don't see a file or download option ??? sorry I must e missing something here

OK I've done it and this is what you do...

I had to use the original slingplayer software Version 2.0.4, after you go to the custom option....
In the custom field type the name of the file (without the .bin extension)
Click the Power button, and the Slingbox Setup Assistant locates the file in ...

OK, I give up, I'll do it for you. Google "Slingplayer Desktop'. Top of the list is the Slingbox.com Player URL

Go there, scroll down to Desktop Apps and download it.

I am using slingplayer 2.0.4 .522 in the first instance so there does seem to be a slight difference to the one shown in your instructions ... ( I am not aware of any other software to use and have been using this version for some time which may be the issue here )

In still can't help as you won't tell me EXACTLY where in the instructions you get to where it doesn't match what you expect. Until you do that I am stuck. (At no point in the instructions can I see a 'please enter code' option).
