Good eye!

You were correct, I did capture the same signal twice thinking it was different. That's what I get for working late on projects like this.

It looks like NEC2 has the proper button/repeat behavior so I will go with that one.

I've noticed that even after changing learned signals to a ...

In my troubleshooting, you'll notice that while I did remove the CH+/- buttons. I moved them to the Red/Green buttons. I also removed the CH+/- buttons from the upgrade as part of that troubleshooting, but when I uploaded the device to the remote the CH+/- buttons were not removed and continued to ...

Ok, after a little stumbling I think I've got what you were asking for.

1. Moving the Menu button for Device A to the Ch+ button shows as a correct keymove in RMIR

2. Moving the Menu button for Device B to the Ch- button shows as a correct keymove in RMIR

I'm not sure if I am doing the 994 correctly.

I create the Macros to switch between the two devices I have on the remote.

I upload the device upgrade so the macro buttons are usable.

I go through the 994 process, I get the double blink at the top of the keymove, but after I complete the keymove ...

What the what with these buttons?

Hello folks,

I think I have discovered an issue with the Enseo button mapping.

It appears that the Channel up and Channel down are the same button!

If I bind the Ch+ to the RED button and the Ch- to the Green button, the STB changes channels as desired.

However, pressing the labeled Ch+ or Ch ...

The GC-IRL was a learner that I've had for a bit from other jobs. I also have a Crestron IR learner, but it really only wants to work with Crestron software.

I've used iTach products quite a bit for installation work, but never got around to getting one for myself.

I was able to make the GC-IRL ...

Regarding controlling 2 devices with this remote, you have 2 choices.

1. You can think of this as a single remote and program each button to either do something on the TV or the IPTV, like POWER works the TV, CH+ works the IPTV, etc. If you want to go this route, first create an upgrade for each ...

Building a device from HEX

Greetings,

As a continuation of the Enseo remote saga, I am preparing build my devices for this project.

One device will be the TV controls (pretty straight forward from existing devices). The second device will be a IPTV set top box.

The manufacture for the set top box (Brightsign) has posted ...

Dang! Thanks a million!

I don't know where you find the time to help out beginners, but I appreciate it.

Now that I got a pretty good grasp on modifying upgrades, I think the next couple of steps with this project are going to be easier with this new RDF.

That big yellow Guide & menu keys on Enseo remote, on a true Inteset 422 that line is three buttons. Two on the edge and one in the middle, those keys would fall in-between Inteset remote keys?

These remotes were altered for Enseo it seems. The two large yellow buttons have bindings that do not ...

Ok, here's the long awaited results of my button testing. I used a device upgrade for a Insignia television I have for testing purposes. I broke the Enseo remote upgrades into 5 sections and used the number functions for the television to confirm buttons.

Enseo Buttons = Inteset-422 file buttons ...

I noticed that too in RMIR.

There were eight devices listed, but only one I could edit. Which makes me think there's extensions or something else going on.

Enseo makes set top boxes for hospitality. So it wouldn't surprise me if there's something special to these remotes. For what I am trying to ...
