The functions on the remote are a subset of the functions on the keyboard. I'll try learning it again.

FWIW, I have successfully learned from many other remotes building device upgrades and filling in holes of existing upgrades. (Even worked with the JVC RX-9010 remote which I discovered sends two ...

Jon,

It is IR. It only operates within line-of-site, and I could see the IR LED blink with my digital camcorder.

I've tried learning as you suggested both with the 2117 and with a 9910. Both remotes seem to just time out during the learning process. I've tried all combinations of short/long key ...

Looking for device upgrade for Salton ICEbox

I just bought the Salton ICEbox , model no. IBFS1, from overstock. It's controlled via an IR remote as well as an IR keyboard. This is last year's model, and has been discontinued. Here's the link to the new model on the manufacturer's site.

I've attempted to learn the remote with my 2117, but I ...

No, 0476 Cable 1 and 3 do not perform the same function as the original 1 and 3 keys.

Here's how the original remote works. The toy plays a single song. If you press button one, the song either starts playing from the beginning or stops altogether. If you press button two, the song either starts ...

I've uploaded a second .IR file , but button three still seems odd.

This time buttons 1, 2, and 3 on the toy were learned to TV 1, TV 2, and TV 3 by doing a single press and release on the learning key followed by a press and hold on the teaching key. On TV 4, 5, and 6, I relearned the buttons ...

Uploaded SONY7.IR to the diagnosis area.

The remote for the toy has three buttons. I learned the buttons to to TV 1, 2 and 3, by holding the buttons down until the 2117 reported "SUCCESS". I then tried to learn the same three buttons again to TV 4, 5, and 6 by just pressing and releasing the ...

Sony7 Protocol Identified in IR not available in KM

I'm implementing an extender on the RS 2117. In my current setup I'm using one learned signal which is used to activate a toy that plays a lullabye in the baby's room. IR 5.09 has identified this signal as OBC 63 using the SONY7 protocol. I'd like to create an upgrade for this device with KM, but ...

Automation Systems RC-2205 Upgrade

I'm using a URC-9910 remote and would like to implement the extender for this remote. I currently am using only one learned signal, and would like to create an upgrade for it in order to use it with the extender.

I have had to learn the command to control an in-wall IR light switch. The switch is ...
