Entered device code and now programmed aux button with new device video 0000 will operate switcher (not IR learned but programmed) but not working in my macros? Inching closer

Now in IR I have Video device 0000 created
button #1 hex 97 efc 118
button #2 hex 17 efc 122
On the general tab put this device on the auxilliary button
now with remote in hand won't control switcher.
Learned signal still will control but again these won't go into macros

yeah just checked the device code was 00 5A is that the same as 5?

device code is 5 but that was in there I do't think that was it but I will appreciate any help

Have a radio shack 2116 and just got a gefen 2x1 DVI switcher.
With the included remote I Learned the codes for input 1 and 2 to the 2116. The learned codes work fine but are not included in macros.
From there I created a new device with only 2 buttons. by entering the hex codes etc on the ...

Switched it around and it worked, thanks!
