Re: help creating upgrade

Ignore my last message, I have made a breakthrough by selecting the first option and trying again and will finish my upgrade tomorrow.

Re: help creating upgrade

Does this message indicate anything to do with the issue or does this not matter? When I select to create an upgrade from the learned signals, does this message matter or not?

Do you have an OEM setup code that works at least some functions of your device? If so, what is it?

Re: help creating upgrade

When you first learned the signals, you said the learned buttons did work with your Denon, which confirms that the Denon is able to receive and respond to IR signals. So, the question is, why does the OEM remote and the learned signals work, but the upgrades do not? You didn't comment on whether ...

Re: help creating upgrade

I am an avid Denon user myself; first AVR-3808, then A100 (~AVR-4311), and now AVC-4800H.

This file contains the commands that I use for my AVC-4800. It is in Girr format; RMIR/RMDU can "open" it directly; just save it to disc and "open" it. Be sure to select executor 00CD:2* in the popup that ...

Re: help creating upgrade

When you originally learned the signals from the Denon remote, did you test the learns to see if they work?

how many JP1 remotes do you have? If you have more than one, could you try loading the upgrade into one remote and then capturing the signals with a 2nd one? I'd like to compare the ...

Re: help creating upgrade

Ive reviewed and it is the same a the first upgrade I created so I was on the right track. However my Denon isnt responding to any buttons and though I cant yet figure out why, I believe it must be something simple I have overlooked. I have uploaded the remote file if anyone can review and see what ...

Re: help creating upgrade

I'm really sorry I didn't post the link. I did try to create an upgrade several times. RMIR gave 3 options to create an upgrade from the learns and I used those bases to try to develop the upgrade unsuccessfully. Thank you so much for creating an upgrade for me, I will look at this after work today ...

help creating upgrade

I'm sorry I'm having a mare of a day and haven't used Jp1 files or RM for what seems like years now. I need a couple of upgrades, one for my Denon AVRX2700H receiver and one for sky IP0618 streaming box. I searched and couldn't find a suitable upgrade or starting point so learned some signals from ...

Thanks Robman, I had a Virgin 360 box before my equipment changed last week so I have already tried those commands. The 360 commands operate the V6 too as I have had one of those and used the same remote.

You are correct Robman, it is not sending IR signals, i didn't contemplate that there were other remote signals.
I've found that the remote works from a different room so it must be bluethooth. Does anyone know how these work to control my TV too which receives IR signals? Also are there ofa remotes ...

Virgin stream box -No device codes and can not learn

Hi, I have yesterday received a Virgin stream box after years of using the Virgin 360 with my JP1 remote, but this is a new equipment I have from Virgin. None of the button presses are being recognized by my JP1 remote when I try learning and no device codes are here for it. Any suggestions please ...

I contacted the lovely people at OFA for help and they advised me the remote is covered for 2 years which I didn't know. They discontinued the 7980 as it wasn't selling but are sending me a replacement 7955 which is 5 devices and also some other 8 device remote (think its the URC 1280) which isn't ...
