If the main goal here is to have the ability to decode learned signals, it really would be alot easier to just buy a JP1 learning remote.

I was trying to use the Realmagic IR receiver as a generic receiver which will understand the native remote not supported by the URC-7541.

Once I can capture the unknown signals I would like to decode the protocol and finaly upgrade the URC-7541.

Any advice with winlirc/lirc? Maybe some "raw" mode ...

I found the URC-7562 in a local Markt, 60 Euro :( (the sat receiver cost me 120 Euro), and actually I don't need another remote with less buttons than the URC-7541 (

The receives is sold under the Mark "FTEmaximal" in Spain (I think is ...

The RealMagic IR Receiver only understands its own remote...

I will look for an universal IR receiver, so I can record the codes on a file...
