Well ... I can confirm that the shift functions don't work at all. In any mode.
Looks like I can get around it for the main functions by using the Activity Keys, but the wait is a bit of a pain.

Can I assume the 7980 will be the same?

Shift Functions

Hi.
I have just purchased one of these too, and am happy with it layout wise etc.
I need to use key moves on the shifted number buttons for each device.
For some reason I can't get ANY 'Shift' ( I'm assuming magic + ) functions to output IR regardless of if the assignment is in a device layout, or ...

Original remote

Unfortunately no original IR remote.
(I'll keep enquiring about this)
The remote with it, is a cable remote.

The IR receiver and remote was an optional accessory I think. (I have the receiver which just plugs into the 'cable remote' port instead.)

I'll have a try with your Ektagraphic results too ...

Kodak Ektapro

Is this enough information to derive Pronto hex codes from, or will I need more?

This from the Kodak Manual

Not sure where to start with this.
cheers

In case someone else has this same problem, I can advise that the macros worked in the end.

I could only get them to work though, by sending very short bursts (0.1s) with NO delay between them.

Thanks ... I've not been using RMIR. IR V8.03 instead.
Seems RMIR is the way going forward, I'll start using that in future.

I think a macro is probably by far the easiest way to deal with this one.
I'll be trying it out tomorrow.

Cheers

I should add that I only use my URC7781 for testing purposes.
What I'm trying to achieve is clean Pronto Hex that can be imported into any control system.

Apple TV 2010

I have an Apple TV remote with 7 buttons on.
Up, Down, Left, Right, Select, Menu, Play/Pause.

The upgrade files posted here must refer to a different remote as they include some other functions also. Perhaps an earlier version of this product?

I have learned this remote with an IR Widget and get ...

Yes, these were learned with an IR Widget.
The decode for button "Right" should be NEC1-f16 too.
I noticed that if I learned with a very short keypress (no repeat) it would decode as NEC-f16 instead.
The "Play" and Stop" keys are different for some reason. I did reproduce this a number of times to ...

Bosch

Have placed an IRScope ict file in the Misc Files section for the Bosch DVR.
The Bosch DVR seems to have 9 selectable control ID's (for controlling multiple units) so this learn is for ID#2 - which is where the extra OBC comes in.

I'll try your method of producing these files too. Thanks.

Have downloaded DecodeIR 2.43.
Importing the files into IRScope as you've done, decodes them as either NEC-f16 or NEC-y1.

Neither of these protocols were included in the DecodeIR 2.43 Zip file.
Is there a zip file of the latest .irp files somewhere? I must be going senile cos I cant find them ...
