OK. Thanks.

Since mine works, just not reliably with macros, I wonder if I could increase the duration and solve the problem.

Thanks

Something I always ask everyone else with remote problems but seem to have skipped you is, "Do you try it with fresh batteries?" Yes. I put in new ones.

Also, do you by chance have an IR widget? No.

Also, in your extensive troubleshooting did you notice if distance from the extender made any ...

OK after a lot of experimenting, I discovered the Macros are not working reliably with my 'RF Extender on the 9910', if I turn it off and point my remote at the equipment it works well. I have my equipment in a closet, so I need the 'RF Extender' to work. The RF Extender works well, without macros ...

OK, I took a quick look and noticed a few things and have a few questions.

Those delays are huge, no wonder your macros aren't reliable. There's no way I could hold my remote still for several minutes either.

In each macro you need to be using DEV_ to select each device, not the device itself, i ...

Thank you both for your help. I am not where I can try your suggestions, now. But I will try them and let you know.

I initially tried it without any pauses. I only added the pauses trying to get it to work reliably. I don't think I realized I had a delay that long, I was desperately trying anything ...

Extended URC-9910 Macro Problem

I am trying to setup a simple power on and power off macro, for all my equipment. I am having problems getting it to work reliably. I've read many treads and have tried adding pauses, both before and after a command. I've tried sending a command multiple times. I have had mixed results, sometimes ...

SUCCESS!!! :D
I went ahead and rebuilt it myself using M1-Shift and M2-Shift and it worked great. I don't know why the Phantom wasn't working, but that was the problem.

pH7_jp1,
Thank you so much for all the help.

pH7_jp1,

I'm still having trouble. I believe I did everything the way you said. Loaded it and activated it.

After activating it. Every time I press the power button on TV mode, the LCD shows 0000 and the transmit LED doesn't come on.

Re: Using toadtog to create a toggle power button

I assigned the discrete ON to Phantom1 and OFF to phantom2 in your file, loaded the empty extender file, added your device (with my addition) and then created the power toggle. All you need to do is click on the Special Protocols tab and the create it like this:

I used toggle bit 1. You can ...

I tried OBC 146 and it didn't work. I guess I'll have to start reading about extenders. I haven't tried one yet.

Thanks for the help.

I've read the Toadtog readme and now know Toadtog doesn't only apply to extenders. However, I feel a little confused and intimidated by the toadtag readme. Maybe ...

Toggle Power for Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 1080

I need the power toggle code for my Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 1080. I captured all the remote keys including the discrete codes and posted a file here https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6583

Any educated guesses what the power toggle code would be?

Thanks

Yes you can do vice versa. I've built them for all my TOADS and they work fine. Here are the two macros you need (direct from the example in the extender readme):

AUX DiscreteOff ToadTog(1,Forceoff) on/off:power, already off: <blank>
AUX DiscreteOn ToadTog(1,Forceon) already on:<blank>, on/off ...

I don't understand. I understand you could use toadtog to make a toggle out of 2 discrete codes, but not vice versa. Please explain.

Thanks
