Please ignore. I realized from reading the other 10820N threads that my problem was that I was trying with the JP1 cable still plugged in.

10820N + Yamaha Gap Code Problm

Hi,

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! A while ago we got the gap code protocol upgrade working for my RX-465 on a 10820B00. I'm now trying to replicate the same thing on a 10820N, but I'm running into problems. Using the file that I uploaded to https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file ...

Hi,

Unfortunately the problem with X-10 still exists even after the Aux 2 fix (it seemed to work at first.) Right now I have the 1167 device assigned to my PVR. If I select the lights to turn off and then use channel - it works (most of the time. It has locked up twice so that I couldn't even use ...

How to easily tell the difference between the two

Looking at both models right now, you can easily tell the difference by looking at the logo at the bottom. The N has One for All in all black, the b00 has the O in One in red.

Vickyg2003,

Do you have any plans to port your extender to the N model? Basically I'm trying to decide if I should go buy ...

Vickyg2003,

Unfortunately, I really need the DSM support, so dropping it isn't really an option for me.

Thanks,

Hi,

There seems to be a problem with the HCS08 support. Using the predefined input 1-8 keys don't work. When I capture from the remote I've loaded the upgrade into for INPUT 1, I get:
37957 Gap-605-1700-24? Key: 71 (which is the actual OBC in KM, not 127-Key)

When I capture the output from the ...

10820B00 w/Extender X10 Problems

Hi,

I'm experiencing the issues mentioned in the previous post, and I don't see a solution for it. Here are the symptoms:
1)
I am unable to use CD 0167 or 1167 to the Aux 2 Button. If I press a button after pressing Aux 2, it seems to press one of the TV buttons

2)
I am able to assign and use CD ...

Gap Protocol for 10820B00

Hi,

I've also got one of these yamaha receivers, and I'm trying to get this working with a 10820B00 w/ EXT A7 remote. When I load this in km, and select the correct remote, I get Code not available for this remote. I tried loading it in Protcol Builder and just changing the remote type, but that ...
