This file has all the codes in it:
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=26399

I have also modified the zip file to include a spreadsheet that converts all of the codes in those 2 PDFs into codes that you can use in JP1.

Oooh, that's a lot! Lol. I will dig into it over the weekend, and do my testing probably on Monday while the wife is at work. Will report back in later. Thanks Rob!

Try the following zip file:
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=14622

I assume you're just using the main zone, so try the Yamaha RX-A3030 Main zone.rmdu file contained in the zip, this has lots of discrete codes in it.

Thanks. That one hasn't given me the ID ...

Yamaha RX-A780 Help

Hey all. I just bought a refurbed Yamaha RX-A780 to replace my current Yamaha RX-A730.
I have it all set up, but of course I want to use my URC-8910 to control it. Currently I have macros set up to select the direct input on the receiver and the corresponding input on the projector so my wife just ...

Hey, that worked!

I had tried to change the TYPE box in a different scenario a while ago, and it didn't work, so I didn't bother this time. But that worked perfectly.

Preliminary tests show Play, Pause, Stop, Chapter Up and Down, and Audio Selection working fine on a test disc (Dragon Slayer). Now ...

Pioneer CLD-V2400 on URC-8910

Ok, so my wife brought home two Pioneer CLD-V2400 Laser Disc players from her school at the end of the year last year, which was fine since my Samsung LD finally died in March.

BUT, there were no remotes.

I finally got around to looking it up. Tried VCR 0059 mapped to AUX and it said "Not Found ...

FLIRC, Chromebox, Kodi, and my URC-8910

Ok, thanks to everyone here, I have multiple URC-8910s all customized for my living room and bedroom (TV, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Yamaha receiver, Projector, etc.).
But I want to replace my aging first generation Apple TVs (running XBMC on Crystalbuntu) with modern Chromeboxes (running Kodi on Kodibuntu ...

Yes, I have the adapter. I noted it in my first post, but it's easy to miss. It's the same one linked earlier in this thread.

I unzipped and ran setup.vbs on the development version. v2.03 Alpha 28 build 19. I set the interface to Auto-detect and voila! It works!

Thanks for the quick help ...

My mistake. It is 2.02a (with the Windows AMDx64 directory).
I have downloaded the development version. Do I need to uninstall the previous version, or delete the folder or anything before I install the development version?

Hey guys. I too have a JP1 remote (two URC-8910s actually). I had an old parallel port cable, but since my only parallel port available is now on an old laptop with a docking station and Windows XP, I decided to buy a USB cable and adapter from DIY Gadget.

I eventually got it to work on my desktop ...

Yes! That seems to have fixed it. Thanks 3fg, and Vicky, and Dave. Now I should be good until either this remote dies or I get new equipment. (I have been eying a new receiver....)

Here is the RDMU file I made for the Psyclone switch.

Protocol F12
PID - 001A
OBC - 5, 9, 17, 10, 16

Probably won't be able to try and re-teach the 8811 until this weekend or next week.
Thanks!

Ok, resurrecting this thread as I have finally made some time to take the info from the 8811 to the 8910.
And the devices I made for most things worked fine, except when I downloaded the custom device I made from learned signals for my Psyclone A/V Switcher,

You can only edit devices with existing upgrades. If you can't change remotes, your RDFs are missing. Download the full set of RDFs and Maps.

Go ahead and make upgrades for all your devices. That's much more efficient and flexible than tons of learns and key moves.

I'll work on making upgrades ...
