JP1 URC 8206 Help

Post by anand »

Hi,

I have puchased a Kameleon 8206 and need some help programming it. I have a JP1 cable and thought I needed a pogo adapter (which was asvised for a previous remote), but this one has pin headers.

When I plug in the adapter, I am getting the following error message:
No respone from the interface. Make sure that the interface is connected to the PC, and that you've specified the correct port.
I have checked all connections and port settings, also when I disconnect the cable, the remote hangs for a little while.

Do I need to put the remote on some setting before connection, please can some one advise.

Thank you
Anand

I doubt this is a JP1 remote, as it has no support in any of the tools.

Have you looked inside? Somewhere near the 6-pin header, it likely says JP1.1 or JP1.2, neither of which are currently supported by any of the JP1 tools.

This is definitely a non-supported JP1.2 remote
