EDIT: There is a limit of 72 total icons across all favorites, activities and functions. Once you hit that, no new icons can be added unless you delete some first.
Will do. SO and the kids are in bed. I'll just edit this to avoid flooding the forum

Added a few new streaming icons to the file section and found a new source for icons. One icon source site has shut down. Details are in the initial post.

Activity icons

In RMIR, I see 66 icons for activities.
If I export them, they appear to be in pairs, first a 28x28 pixel icon, followed by the same image 20x20 pixels. Is there some rhyme or reason behind this?
Furthermore, some of the images are duplicates. For example, the icons in the 6th position on the 8th and 10th rows are identical.
Lastly, I have gotten slightly larger PNG files downloading the icons from an ARRX18G than from a URC-8603. However, I am not sure whether the difference is intrinsic to the remotes or whether it comes from using different versions of RMIR to download them.
Any insights on the topic of activity icons would be most welcome!

You're talking about the built-in icons? I have no insight or any idea what you mean by exporting. Since we have no control over them anyway, what's the point in analyzing what UEI did? What exactly is your end goal with the activity icons?

Well, I originally exported them so I could have a better idea of what I was selecting for my activities without resorting to trial and error on the remote.
When you select an icon for an activity in RMIR, the Icon Selector also features an Export option.
The exercise at least led me to recognize that I am better off choosing the 28x28 pixel versions of the icons.
I have zipped the icons I exported (60, not 66) from the ARRX18G together with a screenshot of the Icon Selector to illustrate. They are uploaded
here.
