JP1 Remotes

Hi,

I just got DirecTV installed in my house and I am trying to find the codes for my HR 54 DVR and for the Genie mini. I have a Nevo c3 remote. Can I just use the HR 44 codes? Finally, what is the Parm field and do i need to make special settings to have the ir work? If so, how do i do this?

All DirecTV boxes from the past decade or so use the same codes. Leave the fields alone.

In the past, you had to enable IR in the settings of the DVR. Not sure what the latest boxes require these days. It's in Remote settings.

Here are my upgrades for addressable boxes. I think the latest boxes are all address 1 only now. Or maybe I'm thinking of Dish.

Nevo also has DirecTV codes built in (on the remote: Settings - Device Setup - Add Device - Satellite box - DirecTV). You have to really go out of your way to get Nevo to NOT work with DirecTV.
