Needing help with a Charter Remote

Post by Ashleynrogers »

First off thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you can help. I have the newest charter remote I believe it’s URC 1060BC2, C4000. I originally was trying to have my remotes ok/select button work on Borge the CBL fiction and the TV function. I used codes I found but managed to screw up both to where when I hit the ok button it goes to channel 0 on both CBL and TV mode....

Now I am looking to get the ok button back to functioning at the bare minimum for ge cable function. If I could get it to work for both can and tv that would be amazing. That would allow me to just use one remote instead of 2 on a regular basis. Any help is much appreciated!!!

Hold Setup for 2 blinks then 981 to reset remote to factory defaults.

We need the make/model of your TV to get you the correct OK code. The working TV setup code you're using now would also be helpful.

It might be safer to use the 980 code, instead of 981, just in case there are some OEM codes pre-loaded.

For the correct EFC for OK on your Sony TV, go here, search for Sony TV, then find the setup code you're using in the results (most likely 10000, 10810 or 11100). On some remotes, you drop the leading digit of the setup code. Then click the EFCs link and use the one for OK/Select.
