Nevo C3/Nevo C2 different setup?

Can I load the same setup/rmir file into both of the remotes?
The reason I ask is that I want to switch over to a Nevo C3 which is smaller, has the recharging stand and has the touch screen as my "primary" remote but want to have one of my extra C2's as my "backup" in case the battery goes dead.
Once I configure up the C3 like I want, can I then just load the same file into the C2? or will I have to go into remote master and reconfigure so that it'll work on the C2?
