Hi all, my old atlas 30333033 finally died, no response at all. I went to shaw to trade in the remote for a new atlas and now they're using this URC 2020 Champ.
Well I like that its backlit but thats about it. I has only two device selections, cable and tv. There are a lot less buttons. Learning functions are gone. None of the codes for my Citizen tv work, code search finds nothing as well. You cannot program the cable to something other than Shaw's cable box. No JP1.3 header in the battery compartment anymore :(
I was about to take it apart to look for a header on the circuit board but then noticed there is a header on the bottom of the remote, a 5 pin horizontal header.
I haven't been able to find any info in here or the other internets. Thanks for the help.

Hey, that last picture looks like the JP2.1 connector on my remote! Check out this thread (https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13773)

Best thing you can do is get yourself another atlas. They're about $8 shipped on ebay. Getting this JP2.1 partially working is possible, but not worth the effort at this point, especially for this very limited model.

They only had the UEI Atlas 1056B03 JP2. They're very nice, Pretty much the same as the 30333033 with a few button moves. Also its back lit which is a huge bonus.
Its JP2 so its not supported yet but it sounds like support might be on the way.
I'll stick with this one for now since I can program it as a microsoft remote for my mce usb reciever for mythtv and the citizen tv code works for me.
