JP1 Remotes

Hi there. Thank you very much for all your support. I am looking for your help with the following issue:

On Feb. 28, 2015 I downloaded from the JP1 file section the bin C2013_PL.bin that works for the remote on a cable box Huawei HC2118S. The file was working properly displaying the Slingbox generic skin. Today, I started a Slingbox session and a different skin was loaded: not the regular BLACK one with all the buttons, I just have a WHITE one with three circles that show MENU, PLAY/PAUSE and ARROWS (up-down-left-right).

I downloaded the file several times today, and still I have as a result the same White skin.

Is there any way to get back to the former Slingbox universal generic black skin?

Just reinstall C2013_PL. That MUST use the generic black image.

Thanks. I reinstalled the C2013_PL.bin and no change at all, the former generic black skin is not back. Although, it is worth to say that almost all the commands are kept in the white skin version, but unfortunately they are accessible only using the mouse right click.

OK, sounds like a problem with the code number 2013. I'm on vacation at the moment without my stuff, back Wednesday. I'll check it then,

I was right, Sling have hijacked C2013, I will send them an angry note I have update the remote so it uses 2010 instead, at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=10220

Thank you, The updated version is fully operational now under generic form.

Good. I've heard back from Sling and they acknowledge their mistake and will fix it.
