JP1 Remotes

My Comcast digital cable box remote won't respond to the Simple JP1 interface cable I built. The plug inside the remote has 'JP1.1' next to it. Does this require a new interface? All my other JP1 remotes work as advertised.

JP1.1 remotes use a new flash chip that is not JP1 compatible.
