15-2104 Extender question
I got it all to work... with a bit of reading. The one item I don't see in the RDF I have is the option to set global VPT on the General page. I only have two options, the backlight time and The Shift button code. The RDF for the URC 601x/801x/881x has all the options - can I use the extender for the URC 601x/801x/881x on the 15-2104 remote? Or is there a newer RDF for the 15-2104?

You can't use an extender on any remote other than the one it was written for. Each extender has a unique set of features as each one is hand written by someone, and each author may have different priorities as to what the extender should do.
I doubt that an RDF fix is all that is needed.
While I'm certainly not an extender expert, I believe the most common way to set the VPT is to include a V_device item in the macros that you have assigned to the device buttons.

I have a 15-2104 and just dug up the readme for the extender where it explains ...
To achieve VPT, replace the V_ command within the macro for each device that should have VPT enabled with the command from the device to which VPT should be set. For example, to enable AUX VPT on your DVD, the DVD key macro might be:
M_DVD; C_DVD; V_AUX; T_DVD; O_DVD
If you want full VPT (same V_ selection in all device selection macros) you can save some macro memory by omitting most of the V_ commands. Once you have set a V_ device, it at remains as the V device as long as no other V_ commands specify a different V_ device.
