Problem with URC-7560 extender V2.1

Hi,
I am using the new extender with IR version 6.2. I can successfully use the old version of the extender, and it installs correctly (press 10 and AV buttons, get 2 flashes, press 0, get 4 flashes). When I try the new extender it does the first 2 flashes after I press 10+AV, then I press 0, and the remote goes dead.
I've tried both the RDF file in the distribution of IR 6.2 (and checked the RDF directory is correct), and also tried the one in the 7560 extender zip file, same problem with both of them. Did the extender install from scratch using both RDF files, also reloaded a brand new image of an untouched URC-7560 and did the installs again (both RDF file versions... I moved the alternative RDF out fo the directory so IR would only find the one I wanted it to find).
My remote is the "old firmware" version of the URC-7560.
Cheers,
Indulis
