JP1 Remotes

I have a a Panasonic HDTV 53" PT-53X54 and I frequently use to turn the TV speakers off and turn on the external speakers. The way I currently do is go to the TV menu, choose AUDIO submenu, then choose OTHER and then select FIXED AUDIO OUT. I want to find the code for this item directly so that I can program it using JP1. I have the same issue with turning on/off closed captioning. Any suggestions?

I have this same TV. I use vol + then mute to do this... the word 'mute' only shows for a few seconds...
