Hi all! I'm looking for the remote codes for my new Conaxsat Trio FTA receiver. My puppy has eaten the remote, and cannot find an OEM (or any other) replacement. Info is as follows:

1. Device: Conaxsat Trio
2. Type of device: FTA satellite receiver
3. Year: 2007
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: None
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? No
6. Still have original remote? No
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? No

Anyone having these codes would help me out greatly!

If we find the codes, what would your next step be? You don't currently have a JP1 remote or a JP1 cable, so the codes would not be of any use to you. Are you looking to by a remote with the codes pre-loaded?

Just FYI, here's the home page for this STB:

My buddy has an extra JP1 remote I can have to work with. He doesn't live in the same city as me, and he's coming for a visit in a couple of weeks.....thought I could have this lined up before he gets here.
I have the website info.....but they don't sell the remotes separately. :(

I provided the website link for anyone else that might look into this, just to let them know what a Conaxsat is (and to confirm for them that it's spelled correctly, good to know for searches).

We don't have any code info for this box here, but I will drop a line to UEI to see if they've come across it.

Thank you Rob, I appreciate it! :D Maybe someone else on here has done work with a Conax, and can help out.

UEI just got back to me, they haven't come across one of these boxes either, so unless you can find someone with a Conaxsat remote that you can learn the signals from, you're outta luck.

Now, just how badly damaged is your puppy-eaten Conaxsat remote? If you can get at least one button to work, we could be in business.

I have been looking for the codes too for a slingbox but have had no luck. I am willing to send my remote to someone that knows how to set one up as I have no idea how to do it.

The remote is a write-off.....too badly destroyed to get anything from it at all.....nothing works, no numeric buttons, nothing.....pretty much in pieces! :(

If someone had the raw ir codes from this remote, that would also help, or if someone knew how to extract them from a .pdb file, that would be great!!

Someone is sending me a remote to capture the signals from.

I have the remote and am about to build an upgrade. Can one of you guys shed some light onto the 8 buttons at the buttom of the remote, there's one label on the button and another on the casing, for each button. Which function is the Conaxsat function? Same question for the buttons on either side of the ZERO button.

Here's the upgrade file...

Thank you Rob!! :D

Would it be possible to get the hex raw ir code file? I want to make a tcl file for my Tivo, but I need the the raw hex file. I don't have a Palm, or the remote, so I can't collect the data myself.
If I had the the raw hex codes, I can use my Tivo to control its most important functions.
Thanks again for all the help!!
