Trying to replace the DVD player on my 8811. Was able to successfully learn the new DVD (Clearplay DVD w/USB), but when I bring that back out of KM into IR, it doesn't work. Can one of you pro's please take a look?

Original working 8811 IR save:

EDIT: IR learned file, from Clearplay remote - and it works on the 8111 before transfering to KM:

KM file that I learned from the IR save:

New 8811 IR file that combines the original IR and the KM from the leared Clearplay remote. Everything works except the new DVD player that was added (KM file above):

Thanks for your help.

The key piece of info that would help analyze this is the IR file with your LEARNED signals, to see if you correctly transferred those data into your KM upgrade.

Are you certain that the signals all decoded as NEC1 Device 0 Subdevice 0, as you have entered in your KM upgrade?

Check to see that those data are correctly transferred from your learned signals to your KM upgrade.

I tried to check your work. You've assigned the upgrade to the DVD and AUX buttons and you don't have any keymoves or learned keys that are blocking your work.

KM isn't requiring you to add a protocol. So the usual suspects

You don't have the learned keys in your original.ir that match the device you created, and we don't have the clearview upgrade in the file section as far as I can see, so you'll need to check that area of your work.

Once you get your upgrade working, make sure to post it in the upgrade area.

I looked at your learned signals and your upgrade. First thing I see is that you are using a subdevice of 0 but your learned signals don't have a subdevice. When you delete the subdevice, you'll see that your fixed data for your upgrade changes.

Yup, Vicky caught it before I did, but a "blank" subdevice in KM is not the same as a "0" subdevice. Make that change and all will be well.

That one "0" did it!

Thanks so much. I thought that I should enter the value to the right which was the default. Your help is very much appreciated.
