If this is not working because 15-1994 toadtog and Force arent compatible That would be my guess.

Sad but I kinda suspected this.

Being that the Force remote isn't really a mainstream JP1 remote, I'd suggest you look into getting another more widely supported JP1 remote, especially if you ...

I have now been struggling a great deal with toadtog the last week and have come to one of two conclusions. I am either missing something in my setup or this is not compatible straight out of the box (or at all) with the 15-1994 toadtog protocol and Force.

I tried with numberous attempts and ...

Yes, that is how Im solving the problem now, but the thing is that im using multiplexer on all my Device Buttons. AUX is via multiplexer controlling both my JVC Harddisk recorder and my Surround which means that if I make a Key Move on AUX Menu{Zoom} thats only working with one device (lets say JVC ...

So if you want to add a few learned signals later, that should be OK.

On my display the ...

Was using 6.20 untill recently, but using 7 beta3 now. It would be great if this could be done through IR but It certainly doesnt seem like an obvious feature .

Global punch through or bad rdf ?

I dont know if this (quite annoying) behavior is a "clever" feature in my Force remote (URC 39720 B00-05) or a bad rdf.

Thing is that a the MENU{Zoom} button have some kind of global punch through that I cant disable. If I put my JVC dvd recorder setup code on the TV Device Button everything is ok ...

Yes i actually did a LOT of searching about toadtog but as you said yourself later in that exact thread

(1) Rob's link takes you to a standalone TT for the RS 15-1994. I'm not sure that it is directly importable to the URC-8910;

Im using a not so common remote (URC-39730) so i figured a TT for ...

Discrete with Force Remote (ToadTog maybe)

I would like to make a macro that turns off all my appliances, so I need to simulate several discrete codes (for my JVC Harddisk Recorder, my Logitech Surround and my Grundig DTR, I have the discrete codes for my Sony tv and my Force sattellite reciever).

I guess I have to go the ToadTog way, but ...

Something different... I would like to make a macro that turns all my devices off, so i need to find or simulate the discrete code for the power button on the DTR. I read something about toadtog, but not sure my remote can handle that.

Can you point me in the right direction ?

TV = TV mode (switches from Radio mode, i presume)
Radio= Radio mode (if avaliable)
? = Info
I = Menu

Besides the normal color guidance through the menu's the color buttons have the following meaning :

RED = Subtitle ...
