I think I have figured out why I am only recently experiencing this... My previous DVR only had one screen when I hit the button. Now with my new one, the expected behavior is that by hitting that button repeatedly, it advances through three menus. So now it does that. I tried the extender last ...

That is quite facinating. Up until now, I was able to make it be my "DVR" button for my Dish receiver and it has never exhibited that behavior. So now that it is "fixed", I wonder if I can break it again? I don't have any extenders running on my remote.

"FAV" button on 8910 starts repeating today. What

Hello-

I did some reprogramming tonight for a new piece of gear. After the upload, when I hit the "FAV" button, it starts repeating every 3-4 seconds until another button is pushed. It doesn't matter what mode is selected. I tried uploading a previous version of my remote, but it still is doing ...

Chasman and all-

This protocol does it all. It is a little big, but not too big for my remote, so I'm happy. I really appreciate all the help you genius's provide.

I'm going to go ahead and upload it into the main device area.

Thanks!

Dish DVR 921

Hi All-

You may have heard that Dish in its infinate wisdom decided not to include an IR remote with its newest Receiver, the 921. It will accept IR, it just doesn't include it on the remote. I decided to start with my 508 remote protocol and try all 256 codes. The result is this file:

DVR 921 ...

HK Combo Protocol with 8910

I have an 8910 remote and a Harmon-Kardon AVR-7200 receiver. I can't seem to be able to get the 8910 to accept the HK Combo protocol. Here is the process I've gone through.

I started with the built in code for reciever 110 that came with my 9810. Rob was kind enough to make it into a KM file. It ...

I will agree that the HK codes seem to be more confusing then any others. Rob, thanks for getting me that HK110, I think I'm going to start there and see what I can come up with. Thanks for your explanations guys.

I understand. For various reasons, I'd like to be able to tweak with the factory code for Receiver 110 on an 8910. None of the Harmon-Kardon codes that have been posted to the yahoo files really do what I'm looking for, so I was hoping to just start with the code that came with my 8910, and work ...

Export a device from IR.exe?

I've been trying to see if I can export a single device from IR.exe as a .txt file so I can edit it using KM. Is there something I'm missing, or is it possible? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
