Hello-
I did some reprogramming tonight for a new piece of gear. After the upload, when I hit the "FAV" button, it starts repeating every 3-4 seconds until another button is pushed. It doesn't matter what mode is selected. I tried uploading a previous version of my remote, but it still is doing this now. I also tried deleting everything from the FAV button keymove, but still doing it. Any ideas on why this is suddenly happening, and how to make it go away? Thanks in advance.

I don't know what you had going on previously (extender installed, perhaps?), but you are describing perfectly normal behaviour for your "FAV" button.

Well, the only thing I'd suggest is installing the extender - in addition to turning the FAV button into a regular button (if you choose) it allows you much greater flexibility in programming your remote, not to mention a manifold increase in keymove/macro memory.
If you're still bothered by the mystery, you might upload some "before" and "after" IR files to the diagnosis area and post a link to them here. Somebody might be able to spot what caused the initial behaviour and subsequent change.

I think I have figured out why I am only recently experiencing this... My previous DVR only had one screen when I hit the button. Now with my new one, the expected behavior is that by hitting that button repeatedly, it advances through three menus. So now it does that. I tried the extender last night and found that I was indeed able to fix that problem, I introduced a bunch of new challenges, so I guess I'll be working on this thing for a while!
