Hi, thanks for that info.
Questions:
I downloaded the Tommy Tyler document, and the title makes reference to "JP1.2/3", not JP2?
So, does that matter? As to the cable source, do I need to use the one you provided, not sourced from Mouser, which is referenced in the Tommy Tyler document? I ask ...

Programming Cable for JP2?
Hi all,
I have a Comcast Remote, steel grey color, on the label inside the battery compartment, it says: "1167ABC1-0001-R" on the first line and "C131704" on the second line.
Also, on the PCB, right above the 6-pin connector, it's clearly labeled "JP2".
I've seen lots of information on JP1/1.1/1 ...
