Re: A few issues on returning to JP1
It sounds like the "9" button is simply not working, so it might be time to try to repair the buttons.

Re: Web site issues
Rob,
Just a minor inconvenience but it seems that posted links do not open in a new window or tab. I'd think that's a configuration option in phpBB...

Re: A few issues on returning to JP1
I only see 1 rdf (10251025) for the URC-7555 so it doesn't look like the differences between R00 and B00 make much difference. If you upload the rmir file from one remote into the other, what happens?

Did you try searching for any secret discrete codes that it might support? I can describe how to do it, if you don't know how.

Re: A few issues on returning to JP1
The 7555 and 7556 both have the same signature, so you should be able to load the memory from one into the other, but as you say, there are physical differences between the 2 remotes. Do any of the remotes have a sub-model number (ie, B00, B01, B02, etc)? If so, check that both remotes really do ...

Re: Any suppliers of JP1.x cables which fit a URC-7555?
Tommy has designed many cables, so simply saying your old cable is one of his, doesn't narrow things down much. Anyway, your URC-7555 is a JP1.2 remote, so it will work well with FTDI FT232RL cables , which is probably what your cable with the separate connectors is. If it's the connectors that you ...

Yes, we're still here. The forum was down for a few months but it's back.
I can reproduce your issue, but we really need Graham (mathdon) to look into it, unfortunately he hasn't been seen since the forum returned, so I don't think he will see this post.

Re: The File Section
I just launched a new feature today, if you look at the top of the page, next to File Section and Upload a File, you'll notice that there is now a "File Search" option. This is all brand new code as there wasn't any kind of search module supplied with the PafileDB extension, so I had to write it all ...

Re: Looking for Strong Leap-S1 RMDU
That's great! Are you using the upgrade that UEI gave us or one of the built in setup codes? I don't know how much time you want to spend on this, but here are some tips to make this the perfect upgrade. Make sure that all of the function names match the button names on the original remote. If the ...

Re: Looking for Strong Leap-S1 RMDU
First thing I would suggest is either trying some streamer codes from your remote manual, or trying the manual search method described in the manual. If you find a code that does anything, I can use that to find the protocol and device code, which I can then use to find matching upgrades.
