I am testing everything out and right now I can control power, volume, and FF/RW on the cox remote for the HT System. I tried putting in the EFC for Play but it is not working. ok, I will run and exchange it for a new one. I assume they will give me the newest one they have.

I know 0000 is the TV code and I tried a few of the others in AUX mode but only got long blinks with them.

is there a chat area or something on these forums? I think we can proabbly get this done pretty quick if we talk in real time

good to know... I could always exchange this remote for a newer one from cox for free if I need too. I have done it before at my apartment with no questions asked.

did you mean 983? 983 is blink back and I will try it for the AUX function

edit: I got 1043 on the blink back for the AUX button. Not sure what that means, and 1758 also gave me a long blink.

here is what I have so far. I ended up resetting my remote to factory settings. At first the remote wouldn't even work on the cable box which was just weird but I figured that out and programmed my tv so it is back to like it was. i tried it a few times going by the instructions and nothing worked. Also, there is no real codes in the atlas list for power or volume. Just audio, up and down which I dont think is right.

Also I did try the comcast codes for power and volume to no avail. I am still stumped as to what to do.

we now have DVR with cox and i think its more work then its worth to make the other remote work that.
