RCA RCRP05B with Sony BD player S185

Post by Chris.Denning »

This worked so well for the home theater I thought I'd ask again. Guess I'm getting too old to figure this stuff out on my own or....just plain lazy...

looking for the EFC's to operate my Sony BDP-S185 using setup code 1516. Disc transport works but the number pad & color keys don't seem to work.

Thanx

You can easily do this yourself by installing RemoteMaster, and loading this or similar upgrade. Check your work against these EFCs:

The RCR05b is a cable replacement remote. It includes cable punch through for the number keys. Make sure that the channel punch through is not interfering with the number keys. (That is make sure the cable led doesn't flash when you access the BluRay's number keys)
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Thank you both for those EFC's and advice. For the sake of completeness would it be possible to get the complete list of EFC's?

Thanx again!
