HI GUYS NEED SOME HELP

IM HERE DOWN UNDER FRIEND GAVE ME A SLINGBOX PRO HD
AND I LOVE THIS GADGET FOR WHAT IT CAN DO
BUT THE PROBLEM IS I HAVE GREEK TV IPTV
A BOX CALLED ELLAS TV ET-503 Manufacture is TELERGY-Model THD-601DC
I NEED CODES FOR THE REMOTE TO FUNCTION I TRAVEL A LOT AND LIKE THE FACT THAT I CAN STREAM ELLAS TV ON MY IPAD BUT NO REMOTE CODES
IS THER ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP PLEASE.

Why do you still use Capital Letters ? Are you not aware this is regarded as Shouting in forum posts ?

A bit disappointed you didn't read the instructions in full after all the work I put in, but from what I can find out that is the correct remote for that device, so any problem must be at your end. Again, you really ought to read the Readme file properly.

Hi i recently purchased Slingbox 500 and connected to a IPTV Box
Provider is ELLAS TV Model:ETV-T503 HD SET TOP BOX Searching threw Sling
for remote functions its not listed it would great if someone can provide a remote for this IPTV SET TOP BOX I Travel a lot and Sling media is excellent
choice to view your Tv anywhere in the world

Sorry, but I could find no trace of this device on the Logitech Harmony IR database where I get the codes from.

I couldn't find the 503, but I found the 504 on the Ellas site:

but I couldn't find codes for it either

I've Posted before for this specific device why is so difficult for this device
To create bin files for sling box Pro and 500 can someone please help
I know there's thousands of remote codes and bin files but not for this device
Can someone please explain why and what I need to do I'll be very grateful for anyone to help.

We produce BIN files by analysing the IR signal from a remote. So somehow have to enable us to get a copy of the IR codes or the remote.

Some people have posted us a spare remote, but as we are in the UK and the USA that probably isn't practical for you.

If you can access to a Logitech Harmony Universal Remote you can program that and then I can download it to my Harmony and look at the codes.

Another option is to get a Nevo C2 remote. Not sure if they are available for you but they are very cheap on E-Bay here. In the same way you teach that remote to operate your device and then send us the settings.

Thank you for you're reply Ive Purchased a One For All Universal Remote Control with Learning Features The Model is URC-7140 Programmed and Copy the ETV-503 Remote with Success it works on Mode SAT with all the normal feautures I'm willing to post the remote were ever you
are with my expences and create a remote Bin.File for my Slingbox Pro.

Before you post it there might be an easier way.

Does anyone here know if we can get the data exported, or maybe get the 4-digit code out of this remote ?

If he programmed a 4 digit setup code, that's all we need, but it sounds like he learned the signals from the original remote.

The cheaper option, rather than mailing and returning the OFA remote is to get a JP1 cable and download the memory. You can get a cable from China for $9 shipped.
