iview HD bin code for slingbox 500 using mac

Hi,

I would be grateful for your help.

I recently bought an Iview hd box ( Model DVBT2 HW version MSD7T01+MXL608) Uk and ireland version. I cannot find the bin code for my Slingbox 500.

I am using a macbook air.

I tried to download a code from a previous thread regarding iview 350 without success.

1. Model - Slingbox 500
2. Error code - invalid custom bin code
3. 6-8 sec to react - yes
4. Slingbox 500
5. No buttons work
6. I tried the blaster without success
7. yes
8. yes
9. not sure
10.not sure
11. yes - no help
12. no logitech harmony remote

Use the latest instructions at http://www.rmrsoft.com/how_to_install_a ... ngbox.html

And make sure you read them in FULL and follow them EXACTLY

Hi Alan,

I have tried all the instructions again without any success.

I rebooted my slingbox 500. I also tested the IR using my apple tv 1st gen and it is working ok.

Do you have a basic code bin code for a similar DVB box to the Iview HD that I could download to test?

Normally I would not help as you didn't answer the questions, but in your case you did that before, so I will partially let you off. But your answer to Q2 was important last time, what was it this time ?

Yes, in response to question 2, I realised that I wasnt inputting the bin code correctly on the mac. Once I figured this out I have been inputting any bin codes from the forum that I think may work.

So far I have tried codes for:
DigitalView XC4917
ViewTV AT-163
IView 350 and iView2000stb
Cisco4585 DVB
CM-7001
and loads of others from various threads which seem to have similar problems to me.

I have tried them with and without the IR blaster.

I have yet to find a remote which makes any signal change on the Iview HD.

I really am a JP1 beginner so I'm sorry if im making some really basic error!

Your device doesn't appear in the Logitech Harmony database but it recommends the iView 3500 as the closest match. Although you say you have tried the iView 350 I assume that was a typing error and you meant the 3500. If that hasn't worked I have no other suggestion, sorry.
