Clone Timed macro with Topline 8

I have been using the IR Programe with sucess, I added one device using keymaster, but mostly use IR to programe and edit timed macros for the Topline 8 for one (think its called the producer in the USA).

I Have notived under the timed marco tab an option 'clone', looks like it might be useful but I have no idea what it does, can anybody who has used it shed any light ?

The 'Clone' button makes a copy of an existing macro (or key move) so that you don't have to reselect all the details by hand.
