0573 DVD txt File

Post by chinoverme1 »

Hi:
Is there a 0573 DVD txt File?
The idea is to try and find the discrete power codes using the GAP codes.
Are these discrete Power codes available?

I seeked in the available Forums and couldn't find them.

My remote is a 8811 and I have a JP1 cable.

Thanks in advance

You can start with the DVD/0573 Advanced Code list. I think it uses the Aiwa protocol with a Device Code of 102.

We generally don't save our upgrades with names like DVD/0573, we usually same them using the brand name and model of the device in question. So, first off, look in the file section to see if there's a file for your DVD player.

If there isn't, you have a learning remote and I assume you still have the original DVD remote (as you didn't say otherwise) so you can learn the buttons and create an upgrade file yourself.

DVD/0573 is an Aiwa protocol, but not the device number used by the Aiwa upgrade in the DVD folder.

That Aiwa protocol and device number (102) is used by 6 upgrades in that folder, the Hitachi_DVD_305 and 5 of the Samsung upgrades. I haven't checked if the OBC match in those 6 upgrades and DVD/0573, but I expect the will.
