urc-9960 Extender 2 Problems

Have Samsung HLP-4663W TV and SIR-TS160 SAT receiver. Discrete ON/OFF are opposite EFC 001/253. When using Externder 2, had to put SAT ON before TV ON in SAT macro or it appeared that SAT ON turned TV OFF.... Assigning descrete keys seems to work OK. Also have problem that "Backlight off button action" doesn't work nor "Backlight motion action". Looks like macros will be more reliable then the extender in my case. Any suggenstions are appreciated!

The issue with the power functions could be just timing with a device not ready for a command. Changing the sequence changes the timing so that me be why it was a problem.

As far as the backlight functions are concerned could you explain a little more what the problem is so I can diagnose it.

Thanks. It appears that the behavior does not change if I have "Backlight off button action" and "Backlight motion action" set to "Use" or "Ignore". Motion will not illuminate the remote once it goes dark, and all button presses to illuminate are transmitted.

I have uploaded my IR file to the diagnose area if anyone can take a quick look.

Just another observance from my urc-9960, extender, and macros concerning my discreteON for the HLP-4663. If I use KeyMaster 8.26 to assign the discreteON (EFC 001) and assign it to TV/Macro1, copy/paste to IR, it works. If I remove assignments from KM and just define a button move in IR with the same values, my TV green led blinks (receiving code), but does not power on.... the hex moves from KM are:

After lots of downloads, looks like protocol $0144 for JVC AUDIO is the issue with TV discrete ON. Can anyone assist with protocol conflicts? I can post protocol to JP1 files if needed.
