Problem with backlight on 9910

Post by lifeisfun »

My 9910 developed problem :(
The right display backlight LED is slightly on all the time ... ( about 1/5 of it's on intensity)
Is there way to fix it ? ( ...common problem ?)
If not how do I open the case so I can disconnect it ?

Thanks

I don't know.

Tommy Tyler wrote instructions, but I can't find the link - it is NOT in the hardware section. Last I saw it was in the yahoo file section.
Edited: This might be it:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files/Hardware
the file is "RemoteTakeApart.zip"
I just added it to the hardware section here.
