I've done some reading and apparently the 8910 and 9910 have difficulty with the pause special protocol in that they are entirely too fast. There was mention of using the KM or RM pause protocol instead, but I can't find either of those. Where should I be looking?
In KM or RM, start a new device upgrade and select your remote on the General (Setup) sheet.

Then go to the drop-down for Protocol, and select Pause Protocol (Special).

Read the associated Protocol Help (in KM it's pretty good, I don't know about RM right now)

yeah, that's one of the many threads that I read referencing the km version of the pause. I didn't realize it was built into the KM spreadsheet. Now that capn has clued me in, I'll be updating tonight to see if it worked.
