IOMEGA 500 GB Screenplay multimedia drive

IOMEGA 500 GB Screenplay multimedia drive

I bought the above IOMEGA HDD that through a SCART can be connected to a TV set to display video files of several kind (mpg,avi ...).The remote is very bad,has a very short range and don't work well.I will get a new one being still in warranty,but I would like to duplicate it in a stronger and powerful one.I dont know how to put my request of help in the forum.
If someone can suggest me the right way,I'll be grateful.
