I get the X_ keys but the xs_ I don't know how to use

Read the readMe file that comes with the extender.

You can specify a way to do a second kind of shift (called an xshift). Doing xshift follwed by an ordinary key invokes the xs_ meaning of that key.

Haven't you ever used a calculator with two different shift keys? (such as a 2'nd key and "blue" key. Press 2'nd the a key to get its 2'nd meaning or "blue" then a key to get its blue meaning.) That option feature of the extender gives the 6012 the same ability.

On my 15-2104 I use one press of Theater as the shift key and two presses of Theater (technically shift-Theater) as the xshift key.

I read the entire thing several times and saw the part of extended shift...didn't make the connection...getting tired
