Fujitsu 42" Plasma Display P42HHA30AS
I suspect that I consume more than 50% of the internet traffic on this forum these days... :-)

I have tried all five Fujitsu files in TV file section - no luck.
Also, the interesting fact is that the User manual for this family of the displays, along with the model in question, also contains P50XHA30 and P63XHA30 as members of the same family. So, a couple of files in Pronto file section for Fujitsu become "promising" - P50XHA10 and P63XHA40.
I wouldn't mind trying those if someone converts those two Pronto files into JP1 upgrades or tells me how I could do that myself.

However I did have a link to that from some other work.
I looked at this and it was similar to upgrades we had in the file section, BUT the KM Upgrades didn't open correctly with RM.I have tried all five Fujitsu files in TV file section - no luck.
I've added a KM and RM version of those files
RemoteCentral P63XHA40
KM version of P42HHA(VHA)40, P50XHA40, P55XHA40
RM Version

I didn't bother mapping and shooting the functions, but I did look at the P50XHA10 and spot checking it seems to list the same device/subdevice/obcs.
However, now that I am really carefully looking at KM and RM, I'm seeing that even though the two keys are mapped the same, the hex is different, and one is requiring a protocol and the other one isn't. So this problem is above my skill level.

Use DecodeCCF to generate a text file that shows Protocol, device numbers and OBCs.
Be sure to read the notes on how to use the program-- it is unusual.

The Pronto files are Fujitsu protocol, device 132.138.
The Fujitsu protocol has three official UEI executors, which use different lead out times. This suggests to me that there are some pecularities about Fujitsu protocol, but I don't know.

Okay, did get past the listing of the functions. I mapped, what I understood, the volume, mute, power, menu and arrows.
When I switched to the 8811 in KM, I got a protocol unavailable, so I switched over to RM and did the upgrade they suggested and that shot a GAP signal. So the problem here is we have no tools for the protocol. We probably have the code.

Seeing that keymaster didn't require an upgrade for my 7800, I thought I'd try that remote to see if I could produce this protocol, but that didn't work either. I guess if you knew how to use makehex, you might be able to create some pronto hex, and convert that into a uei learn, but I've exhausted all the possibilities that I can think of.

Okay, I lied, I hadn't tested all possibilites, so I loaded up the upgrade for the urc 1067A and got yet another signal.

I don't know if you've explored the new feature of IR 8.03 where you can import pronto hex as a learn. Go to Add and paste this pronto hex in the box. The pronto hex starts at the 0000.
Until our tools are capable of adding the fujitsu protocol, you can get some control over your device.

If you run decodeCCF in the expanded mode you'll get all the timing data you need.
decodeccf 99 x ccf_filename
Grab the timing data, replace all " " (that's a space) with " +" (that's a space +) and then replace all the "-" with a " -", you have timing data that you can drop into irscope with the frequence 38381 and you'll get all the codes that this equipment can use.
I don't know if its "user error" on my part, or if there is a flaw in the way we are generating fujitsu protocol, but I can't get this thing to send the proper signal to save my life!

The fixed data out of RM is in the wrong order. If you change FF and DE are reversed. If you switch them into this order when you paste it into IR, it will send the signals we are looking for.

The DeviceTranslator is pointing at the wrong byte. It says 24 but it should say 32. The EFC's are translating the wrong byte so we need a CmdIndex line added to the [Fujitsu] section.
