Windows Media Center Edition w/URC-6131n

Post by dotbatman »

1. Device: Windows Media Center Edition
2. Type of device: PC
3. Year: 2005
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-6131n
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes (found this)
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? n/a
9. Partially working setup code? n/a
10. Learning remote question? n/a

I've tried loading the code I found into remote master, selecting my remote , then loading it into IR and uploading. The code sticks, but if I press any button when the device assigned to 1272 is selected then the red light on my remote just stays on until I remove the batteries.

If this is the wrong area please let me know.

I recommend that you use KM to manipulate this upgrade as RM isn't importing it correctly.
