Kabel Digital Receiver - Germany

If you have learned signals that don't get decoded when you look at them in IR.exe, post your file to the Diagnosis Area then post your question here (including a link to the file).

Kabel Digital Receiver - Germany

Post by trebortech »

I'm a little out of my league with this so any help would be great. That linked file is my ir code file from my learned remote. I'm in the US and I'm trying to get my slingbox working in Germany. I had my in-laws send the remote control for the kabel box (located in Germany) so I could record the ir codes. Unfortunately I underestimated the difficulty in this task since I'm not getting a protocol listed.

So with that said I need to mention that I have not been able to test the learned codes.

Thanks for any help you could provide.

IR reported that these are CanalSat codes. I think CanalSat is a custom protocol. Do a files search on CanalSat and you might find this upgrade or at least the protocol to get started with.

Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
