channel lock on comcast remote

hey, ive got a real basic understanding of 994 reprogramming. I've got a comcast remote with a Red Ok/Select button.

ive got a couple of buttons programmed onto it with EFC codes and 994 programming, but ive got an issue.

the OK/Select button seems to be locked to controlling the Cable box, IE if i'm in another device mode, pressing the Ok/Select button in the middle of the D-pad makes it go to the cable box. I want to unlock this single select button without unlocking the ch+/ch- buttons from the cable box. is this possible?

Actually you fix this with the 994 command. See the instructions in the link below.
