8910 and FAV button

I had programmed my remote with JP1 and had the FAV button working with a Dishnetwork 508 receiver as the PVR button. No extender.

I went to change a setting and somehow the FAV button will no longer work as PVR. I reloaded the remote with the exact same key mapping and it still does not work! I setup the Keys in RM and it does state that FAV : PVR.

I have also checked it with KM and the FAV/Scan option is greyed out. So I have to use RM.

Any idea why the button would no longer work since it once did?
