pin 1 on eeprom

pin 1 on eeprom

how can one tell which is pin 1 on an eeprom. i am looking to upgrade 6131.

There should be a dimple, ink "dot", or beveled edge on one end. With that facing up, pin 1 is on the left.

I would never think of doing that.. Probably because I already have and in fact your graphics are better than mine anyway. :lol:

I just upgraded a 6012. The EEPROM I used didn't have a dot. Instead, one side is beveled. That is the side with pin 1.
