Posting error message

Post by Nils_Ekberg »

When I was replying to a post I got the following error.

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 550 Authentication turned on in your email client.

DEBUG MODE

Line : 40
File : /home/users/web/b729/ipw.hifi-rem/public_html/forums/includes/smtp.php

It did post the message (3 times) but I was curious what the error message means.

I guess 3 is the magic number when this error occurs since I got 3 copies of the PM you sent

oops, after the third time I sent you a regular email since I assumed none of the three PM's went thru. Sorry about the duplication :(

Just for the record, I always prefer regular emails to PMs anyway.

Good point Rob :D . So do I that is why I don't hide my ID. Especially since I set this forum up to let me kniow a PM is there. A lot of redundancy.
